The "Psycho" Behind the Visuals


Hi my name is Kyle and I was the concept artist on this project. I helped with coming up with some quick sketches and ideas for the look and feel of the game as well as all of the 2D assets background  characters designs, wall textures etc. This project was a ton of fun to collaborate on and it's always cool to see what you can produce in a short amount of time. Really gets the creative juices flowing. Some of the highs and lows. Some of the biggest highs for me I would say is the style was really fun trying to produce something quick and cohesive with a skull girl sort of aesthetic as our jumping off point. As for low's on the 2D side of the project I would have liked to been able to push it a little bit more in line with a traditional fighting game background maybe have a bit more parallaxing. Would have been cool to push a little bit more of the animation as well. But for the time limit I think we did a pretty good job definitely something I want to come revisit in the future would love everybody to experience Psychoball!
